DESCRIPTION OF MAJOR JOB DUTIES
The Facility Technician 1 will provide routine custodial cleaning and upkeep of the Jail Facility daily. Duties include cleaning of restrooms and furniture including sweeping mopping buffing and vacuuming of the floors and daily collection of trash including the cleaning of the grounds and parking lot.
Required Tasks
- Performing specific custodial activities to maintain the cleanliness of designated areas for residents staff and visitors.
- Sweeping scrubbing buffing and waxing floors.
- Cleaning rest rooms collecting trash cleaning windows glass mirrors dusting polishing and shampooing carpets.
- Handling the general upkeep and maintenance of the facility.
Educational Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
