Job Description
This individual will report directly to the Director of Operations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensure that products comply with company and industry standards.
- Train Inspection team members on all processes.
- Work with QC team to maintain quality at sewing contractor shops.
- Document defects and recommendations for improvement; provide detailed feedback to Design.
- Prepare and present quality audit reports to management & Distribution Center counterparts.
- Clearly communicate with all departments in writing and/or verbally regarding defective and unacceptable merchandise.
- Offer suggestions as needed to improve processes or efficiencies.
- High school Diploma / GED.
- Strong measurement skills.
- Ability to read write and speak in both English and Spanish (bilingual) is a plus.
- Self-motivated with the ability to question and learn new responsibilities quickly.
- Minimum 2 years of apparel manufacturing and quality control / assurance experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of garment construction garment measuring quality control/assurance.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Must have proficient computer knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel Word.
