Company Overview:

The company is a leading automotive business in Rayong looking for a QMS Supervisor. The QMS Supervisor is responsible for maintaining and improving the organizations Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 17025 standards. This role involves managing internal audits supporting external audits controlling documentation and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the automotive manufacturing environment. The QMS Supervisor also acts as a key support for the Quality Management Representative (QMR).

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • QMS Maintenance and Improvement:
    • Maintain and improve the QMS to ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
    • Develop implement and maintain quality procedures and work instructions.
    • Monitor and analyze QMS performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Internal Audits:
    • Plan conduct and report on internal quality audits to assess QMS effectiveness.
    • Ensure audit findings are addressed through corrective and preventive actions.
    • Train and develop internal auditors.
  • External Audits:
    • Support and coordinate external audits by certification bodies and customers.
    • Ensure timely resolution of audit findings and non-conformities.
  • Document Control:
    • Manage the control and distribution of quality documents and records.
    • Ensure document revisions are properly authorized and implemented.
    • Maintain the document management system.
  • Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA):
    • Manage the CAPA system to address non-conformities and prevent their recurrence.
    • Analyze data to identify trends and implement preventive actions.
    • Follow up on the effectiveness of implemented actions.
  • Management Review:
    • Prepare and present data for management review meetings.
    • Support the QMR in ensuring management review outputs are implemented.
  • Training:
    • Provide quality-related training to employees.
    • Ensure employee awareness of QMS requirements.
  • Customer Liaison:
    • Address customer quality-related concerns and support customer visits.
    • Ensure customer-specific requirements are integrated into the QMS.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field (e.g. Quality Management Engineering).
  • 4-7 years of experience in Quality Management Systems within the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 17025 standards.
  • Experience as an internal auditor.
  • Experience supporting external audits.
  • Understanding of core tools (APQP PPAP FMEA MSA SPC).
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Internal Auditor.
  • Experience with other ISO standards (e.g. ISO 14001).
  • Experience with electronic document management systems.
