Job Description

We are currently seeking Hall Executives to join Lee Hysan Hall (Ref:532809) in providing administrative support and ensuring smooth operations in Lee Hysan Hall.

The Role

  • Assist with the administration and operations of a cluster of residences and be responsible for general office administration;
  • Handle inquires and student matters in a timely manner;
  • Coordinate residence meetings events and service projects;
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies handle procurement and ensure stock availability;
  • Record income and expenses process invoices and payments and assist with various financial tasks;
  • Offer support to student residents by addressing their inquiries and concerns; and
  • Coordinate residents move-ins move-outs and room relocations.

The appointees may be deployed to various clusters of student residences based on operational needs as determined by the Dean of Student Affairs.

Qualifications and Qualities

  • Preferably a recognized University degree OR at least completed Form 5 or above with 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007) Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics; OR a min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including EnglishLanguage Chinese Language and Mathematics;
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience;
  • A good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  • Good organizational and communication skills with the ability to work independently;
  • Attention to details and a good team player;
  • Genuine interest in student welfare and student development; and
  • Proficiency in PC applications such as MS Office Suite knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or Canva would be an advantage.

What We Offer

The appointment will be made on fixed term full time contract for 2 years to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave and medical benefits.
