Job Description

Position Description:

The Senior Salesforce Quality Engineer takes an end-to-end process-based approach to address key business challenges such as complexity reduction lean manufacturing and operations excellence process innovation strategic cost reduction enterprise transformation and growth through fast innovation. Senior Salesforce Quality Engineers are challenged to understand and respond to clients varied business needs in both the private and public sector and work with clients to rapidly enhance the internal capabilities needed to continuously improve operational and innovation performance. Our core offerings target different aspects of a clients value chain - both across the enterprise and at the intersections of assets process polices and people delivering value.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

Translate business and functional requirements into clear effective manual and automated test cases.
Design execute and maintain test plans and scenarios for Salesforce CRM (Sales Service Experience Cloud) and Marketing Cloud.
Validate Salesforce functionality customizations and data integrity across APIs (REST/SOAP) backend systems and third-party integrations.
Analyze test results to identify document and resolve defects deployment issues and system interoperability problems.
Perform backend data validation using complex SQL queries; ensure data quality and integrity across environments.
Support release decisions by evaluating test outcomes and advising QA leadership and stakeholders.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with globally distributed DevOps development and QA teams across up to 8 time zones.
Assist in deployment activities including smoke testing post-deployment validation and troubleshooting.
Document and share technical knowledge and testing best practices to contribute to process improvement and knowledge bases.
Provide technical support to users offering clear communication and guidance across varying levels of technical proficiency.

Work Environment:

Open to offshore and nearshore candidates who can operate effectively in a global delivery model spanning multiple time zones.
Candidates must demonstrate strong initiative adaptability and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards in a fast-paced collaborative setting.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Required Skills:

3 years of Salesforce QA experience with strong coverage of Sales Service and preferably Marketing Cloud.
Proficient in test tools like Postman SoapUI JIRA Zephyr and Salesforce-native or open-source utilities (e.g. Workbench Selenium).
Strong SQL skills for test data validation and backend testing.
Ability to design effective test cases from business/technical requirements and system documentation.
Solid understanding of the Salesforce platform including standard/custom objects user roles workflows and integrations.
Proven ability to identify root causes of issues and provide actionable recommendations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to work effectively in fast-paced cross-functional environments.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as Copado Gearset Git and Jenkins.
Familiarity with test automation tools like Selenium WebDriver or Tricentis Tosca.
Experience testing Marketing Cloud third-party APIs and integrations.
Salesforce certifications (Administrator Platform App Builder QA-specific) are a plus.
Background in Agile/SCRUM development environments; project management experience is a plus.
Experience working with software/hardware vendors or ITSM systems is a bonus.
