About the team
At SAP University Alliances we partner with other SAP team to provide the best services to foster strategic research collaborations between SAP and academia in areas like the future of supply chain management.
SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) solutions are market leaders and are used by more than 2500 customers worldwide. We aim to innovate this portfolio through our Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cloud product that integrates with our established ERP business suite S/4HANA.
IBP is a cloud solution that enables our customers to react quickly to changing customer demands and expectations as well as unexpected changes to their supply chain due to external events or shortages. IBP does this by generating a short to midterm supply plan thats based on prioritized and categorized demand such as orders and forecasts. To learn more about IBP watch this video.
We are looking for a UX Researcher tojoin ourDesign& UXteamand make a tangible impactonproduct designers product managers and engineers diving into the full product lifecycle to ensure our solutions aregenuinely user-centeredand impactful to conductingresearchyoullalso help us foster a research-driven cultureensuring deep user understanding guides every decision.
What youll do
- Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research to understand the needs motivations and workflows of a wide range of users
- Translate research findings into actionable recommendations that directly inform product strategy design decisions and the overall user experience
- Create impactful deliverables to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Partner closely with designers product managers engineers and other teams to understand business objectives align on research goals and integrate user insights throughout the entire product development lifecycle
- Help foster a culture where every decision is informed by a deep understanding of users and their real problems promoting the value of research across the organization
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UX research methodologies tools and industry trends including those related to AI to continuously improve research practices and contribute to the growth of our research capabilities
What you bring
- PhD degree in a relevant field (e.g. Human-Computer Interaction Cognitive Science Psychology Computer Science Sociology Anthropology Information Science or a related discipline).
- 2 years of hands-on experience in conducting UX research such as user interviews contextual inquiries usability testing surveys card sorting A/B testing diary studies and unmoderated testing.
- Ability to independently plan execute and synthesize research in a structured and rigorous way
- A strong team player who enjoys working in international cross-functional product teams
- Critical thinking ability to frame research questions that address key product challenges and resolve ambiguous problems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience in enterprise or B2B software is a significant plus

Nous sommes la recherche dun chercheur en exprience utilisateur (UX) qui rejoindra notre quipe ddie la conception et lUX pour produire un impact tangible dans le dveloppement de travaillerez en troite collaboration avec nos concepteurs nos responsables produits et nos ingnieurs en examinant lintgralit du cycle de vie des produits afin de garantir que nos solutions sont rellement centres sur lutilisateur et apportent une vraie contribution nos -del de vos travaux de recherche vous nous aiderez galement favoriser une culture axe sur la recherche en veillant ce que chaque dcision soit fonde sur une profonde comprhension des utilisateurs.
Votre rle
- Planifier et diriger des recherches utilisateur qualitatives et quantitatives pour comprendre les besoins les motivations et les flux de travail dune grande varit dutilisateurs
- Traduire les rsultats des recherches en recommandations concrtes qui guident directement la stratgie du produit les dcisions de conception et lexprience utilisateur globale
- Crer des livrables intressants pour transmettre efficacement les rsultats et les recommandations aux quipes transversales et aux parties prenantes
- Collaborer troitement avec les concepteurs responsables produits ingnieurs et dautres quipes pour comprendre les objectifs saligner sur les finalits de recherche et intgrer les informations utilisateur tout au long du cycle de dveloppement du produit
- Encourager une culture dans laquelle chaque dcision est fonde sur une profonde comprhension des utilisateurs et de leurs problmes concrets en prnant la valeur des recherches dans toute lorganisation
- Se tenir jour des nouvelles mthodologies de recherche UX des outils et des tendances du secteur (notamment celles lies lIA) pour amliorer en permanence les pratiques de recherche et contribuer la croissance de nos capacits de recherche
Votre profil
- Doctorat dans un domaine connexe (par exemple: interaction humain/machine science cognitive psychologie informatique sociologie anthropologie science de linformation ou discipline associe)
- 2ans minimum dexprience pratique dans la direction de recherches UX (par exemple les entretiens auprs dutilisateurs les demandes contextuelles les tests dutilisabilit les enqutes le tri de cartes les tests A/B les tudes dagenda et les tests non modrs)
- Capacit planifier excuter et synthtiser les recherches de manire indpendante selon des mthodes rigoureuses et structures
- Collaborateur avec un fort esprit dquipe qui aime travailler dans des quipes de produits internationales et interfonctionnelles
- Esprit critique apte cadrer les questions de recherche rpondre aux dfis des produits cls et rsoudre les problmes ambigus
- Excellentes capacits de communication orale et crite en anglais
- Une exprience dans les logiciels dentreprise ou B2B serait un plus
