We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our team in Darwin for the successful delivery of Project outcomes across the Darwin Correctional Precinct.
This will require the planning executing and controlling of all aspects of ongoing and new projects either directly or through delegation with the on-site facility team.
Successful delivery requires monitoring and controlling deliverables work schedules and resources (Internal and External) while managing project stakeholders (Internal and External).
Key Responsibilities:
- In conjunction with the Contract Manager prepare and submit accurate forecasting for capital and lifecycle works
- Ensure timeframes and scope are kept during projects and manage stakeholder engagement (Internal and External) to avoid negative deviations
- Represent Honeywell in discussions and negotiations with internal and external stakeholders professional consultants subcontractors and 3rd party vendors to ensure preferred project deliverables and outcomes.
- Ensure the Project Team adheres to the high standards of Health and Safety management required by Honeywell and our customers.
Key Experience & Capabilities:
- BSc Eng or project management degree or equivalent technical or management experience required.
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to successfully obtain clearance to work in a prison environment (essential)
- Proven experience in project management
- Working knowledge of construction industry and the ability to understand multiple trade disciplines
- Work history on large commercial sites or correctional facilities (Preferred)
