Key Responsibilities
Perform day-to-day activities i.e. accounting transactions financial statement preparation and financial data analysis.
Connect with the country and other teams for relevant information and action as necessary.
Deliver financial book close requirements based on set deadlines.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial controls as determined globally and locally.
Complete deliverables and other assigned tasks within the targeted timeline and SLA including timely response to inquiries.
Proactively highlight any performance/process gaps and room for improvement and follow-up with the relevant stakeholders.
Utilize accounting knowledge of processes and understanding of the impact on other work groups to assist others on more complex issues.
Continuously seek propose and establish improvements in the processes handled.
Process VAT-refund application
We are looking for:
Candidate must possess a Bachelors/College Degree in Accountancy
Candidate must have a high level of comprehension excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on his/her feet.
With good English communication skills both spoken and written.
With at least 1-2 years of work experience in handling end-to-end general accounting processes and taxation.
Familiarity with MS Office applications SAP and PH Tax (especially VAT) reporting a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced performance-driven environment.
Ability to work under pressure.
