Our Valuations Services practice prepares objective valuations for financial reporting tax and management planning purposes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Researching target industries market and competitor information
  • Interviewing clients including face-to-face meetings to gather data and information pertinent to the engagement
  • Working with management to build and maintain client relationships
  • Identifying and communicating potential engagements to management
  • Reporting and presenting analyses and conclusions including written reports
  • Performing valuation of private equity and venture capital investments in a variety of industries.
  • Reviewing transaction agreements and capital structures to understand rights of different share classes.
  • Performing business and intangible assets valuation engagements for fair value measurements and transactions
  • Developing financial models for transaction and valuation engagements

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree with further experience and/or qualifications in Finance Accounting or Economics MBA from an accredited university or additional professional accreditation such as CFA
  • Up to 1 or 2 years of experience in constructing and reviewing valuation models and other financial and statistical models including: DCF comparable company and transaction stock option loss curves and commodity contracts/forecasts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of software packages including MS Word Excel and PowerPoint
  • Native Japanese language skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills that help represent diverse communities
  • Experience working with diverse teams
