Were seeking someone to join our team as a Data Governance Analyst in Non-Financial Risk to establish strong data governance building and leveraging data analytics and executing on our data centric strategy.


In the Legal & Compliance division we assist the Firm in achieving its business objectives by facilitating and overseeing the Firms management of legal regulatory operational and franchise risk. This is an Associate level position within the NFR Data & Analytics a function in the Legal and Compliance Division that is responsible for designing and optimizing surveillance models approaches and tools using advanced analytical techniques like supervised and unsupervised machine learning and evolving techniques like graph analytics.

What youll do in the role

>Participate in Data Governance and Data Analytics related projects and working groups.
>Implement formal data governance practices with business and technology teams.
>Guide stakeholders to adopt data governance best practices
>Enhance processes and perform analysis to support strategic projects
>Apply data quality governance framework and metrics
>Maintain data quality standards and compliance with regulatory requirements What youll bring to the role

At least 4 years relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role

>Bachelors degree in a related field.
>Strong understanding of data governance and issue management.
>Good written and oral communication skills.
>Ability to work with global cross-functional teams.
>Direct experience in the financial services industry.
>Experience in the categorization and use of business data in support of business processes.
>Knowledge of semantic technologies SKOS modeling and experience using SPARQL.
