Job Summary
Pudong Shangri-La Shanghai
Pudong Shangri-La Shanghai is located on the famous Huangpu River in Shanghais vibrant Lujiazui financial district directly opposite the historical Bund. Guests can walk from the hotel to the Oriental Pearl TV Tower SICEC and IFC Mall. The hotel offers 10 restaurants and bars such as Gui Hua Lou a Chinese restaurant French restaurant Jade on 36 Restaurant which boasts panoramic view of the Bund and buffet restaurant Yi Caf.

We are currently looking for an Executive Pastry Chefto join our Food & Beverageteam.
As an Executive Pastry Chef we rely on you to
- Responsible for supervision and production of all items in Banquet section and outlets
- Control quantity by adjusting production according to projected covers
- To ensure maintenance of quality standards staff performance and customer satisfaction
- Enforce the implementation of food safety programs throughout the entire division
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a passion for Pastry
- Enjoys interacting with people
- Must have experience working in either a luxury restaurant or a 5*hotel environment
- Guest relations to host International tourist communicates and writes with fluency in English
- Must be a friendly helpful and trustworthy leader
- Follows the market trends closely
- Self-driven goal-oriented and willing to challenge the status quo
- Upholds professional values ethics and integrity at all times
