Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add a Material buyer located in Suzhou site.
Reporting to the Materials Manager the Material buyer role involves
What a typical day looks like:
- Reviews requisitions and MRP output.
- PO release and maintain supplier confirmation into system. Expedites delivery of goods to users.
- Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as availability and delivery schedule.
- Schedule pull-in push out and order cancellation based on MRP report and follow up suppliers feedback
- maintain delivery Schedule in system.
- Maintains procurement records such as items or services purchased costs delivery and inventories.
- Manages supplier to lead-time delivery and quality expectations and escalates when appropriate.
- Analyzes inventory levels. Prepares liability reports for excess and obsolete management.
- May plan schedule and monitor the movement of materials through the production cycle. to support
- production smooth run.
- Makes tactical buying decisions. Executes corporate sourcing programs and purchasing high dollar parts.
- Maintains procurement records reports and metrics.
- RTV execution and excess disposition.
The experience were looking to add to our team:
- 3 years materials buyer experience.
- Experience in Mechanical or PCB parts.
- Have the basic knowledge of supply chain.
- Good English in writing and speaking.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Be familiar with ERP/SAP system.
