A leading fintech platform is seeking a Lead AI Engineer to design scale and deliver production-grade AI systems that impact millions of users across the region.
This is a permanent role that blends deep technical contributions with leadership. Youll report directly to the Head of AI act as a senior hands-on contributor and help grow a lean world-class AI team through mentorship coaching and technical hiring.

What Youll Do
- Design train and deploy ML models for business-critical use cases.
- Collaborate with product data and engineering teams to define and execute AI initiatives.
- Lead technical decision-making across model design deployment and infrastructure.
- Own the full ML lifecycle from data prep and training to evaluation monitoring and retraining.
- Review code guide projects and mentor junior engineers.
- Drive technical hiring from screening to onboarding.
- Champion experimentation AI best practices and production-quality delivery.
- Stay ahead of new tools frameworks and advancements in AI.

Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in AI/ML engineering with production deployments.
- Strong Python skills (must-have).
- Deep experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch TensorFlow Scikit-learn).
- End-to-end knowledge of ML lifecycles data pipelines feature engineering tuning deployment monitoring.
- Real-world experience in applied AI domains (recommendation NLP fraud risk modeling etc.).
- Experience mentoring engineers and collaborating across teams.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Thai Citizenship with ability to work hybrid from Thailand in collaboration with regional teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow Airflow Docker GCP/AWS).
- Familiarity with responsible AI practices (fairness explainability governance).
- Startup or scale-up environment experience.
- Background in building reusable ML components internal tools or AI platforms.
