Key job responsibilities
Create innovative solutions using data and research to address wider challenges in your organisation
Take a big-picture approach in your analysis of business operations driving improvements across a range of teams and organisations
Work alongside senior leadership to establish and prioritise improvement programmes seeing them through from start to finish
Enhance operational performance on every programme in partnership with your stakeholders

A day in the life
As a Programme Manager youll drive and manage the implementation of creative data-driven change in Amazon leading improvement projects and programmes. Youll use strategic thinking to define and implement an efficient project plan. Some managers are based on-site while others work remotely depending on the most suitable option for their team and tasks.

Programme Managers have significant responsibilities and youll deal with complex challenges with creativity innovation and leadership. With a responsibility extending beyond process improvements you could also contribute to improving other areas of the business like diversity equity and inclusion.

About the team
Amazon Freight allows both small and large businesses to use Amazon to transport products in bulk across Europe. This is an innovative technology-driven service currently growing rapidly in Europe. We are a technology powered business and we utilize Amazons expertise in technology and operations to delight our shippers. Amazon Freight is part of the Amazon Transportation Services organization responsible for many of Amazons best-in-class logistics and transportation operations.

We are looking for a London based Program Manager who will be responsible to drive supply strategy and execution for new value added service offerings at Amazon this role you will be focused on identifying execution synergies with the network forumulating product & program requirements to service new offerings standardize performance reporting and ultimately drive capacity and cost improvement initiatives. You will own related metrics. You will partner with business analysts Product Manager engineers data scientist and finance in launching and driving initiatives that solves for capacity and costs

- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience in program or project management
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience defining and executing program requirements

- Experience in driving end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience in stakeholder management dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes project management and schedules
