Job Description
Position Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Automation Tester to design develop and execute automated test scripts that ensure the reliability performance and quality of our software applications. The Automation Tester will work closely with QA engineers developers and product managers to build robust automated testing frameworks reduce manual testing efforts and accelerate the software delivery lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements technical specifications and user stories to develop automated test strategies.

Design script and maintain automated test cases using tools such as Selenium Cypress Playwright or Appium.

Build and manage test automation frameworks for web mobile and API testing.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins GitHub Actions Azure DevOps GitLab CI).

Execute automated regression and smoke tests to validate builds and deployments.

Collaborate with developers to ensure testability of new features and provide early feedback.

Perform root cause analysis for test failures and work with engineering teams to resolve defects.

Track and document results in test management and defect tracking tools (Jira TestRail Zephyr).

Continuously evaluate and adopt new automation tools and frameworks to improve efficiency.

Contribute to establishing QA best practices standards and processes across the team.
Qualifications
-
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field.

2 - 4 years of experience in software testing with at least 12 years in automation testing.

Strong knowledge of test automation tools (Selenium Cypress Playwright Appium TestNG JUnit etc.).

Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java Python JavaScript or C#.

Solid understanding of SDLC STLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Familiarity with API automation testing tools (Postman RestAssured SoapUI).

Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.

Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Preferred Skills

Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack Sauce Labs).

Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter LoadRunner Gatling).

Exposure to security testing basics.

ISTQB Test Automation Engineer or similar certification.

Experience in testing microservices and containerized applications (Docker Kubernetes).
