Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage the industrial costing system of the new factory ensuring the proper recording and allocation of production costs direct and indirect labor direct materials overhead and other fixed and variable costs;
- Determine the actual cost of manufactured products compare them with standard costs and analyze variances (raw materials production efficiency fixed costs absorption etc.);
- Perform contribution margin and profitability analysis by product and customer and propose improvements to optimize costs and increase competitiveness;
- Participate in the sales price formation process based on costs in collaboration with Pricing Commercial and Finance teams;
- Support the preparation of budget forecasts and cost and operating expense estimates for the plant monitoring and analyzing deviations;
- Actively participate in the physical and cycle count inventory processes for raw materials work-in-process and finished goods including accounting reconciliation and adjustment analysis;
- Control and validate accounting balances of inventories provisions and inventory adjustments ensuring the accuracy of reported information;
- Participate in continuous improvement projects supporting plant management in the pursuit of operational efficiency waste reduction and optimization of production processes;
- Provide direct support to the Plant Director with management reports key performance indicators (KPIs) variance analysis and corrective action proposals;
- Develop and maintain managerial cost reports and operational indicators facilitating decision-making for Manufacturing Engineering Supply Chain and Finance teams;
- Work collaboratively with Engineering Production Planning (PCP) Purchasing Logistics and Quality teams to analyze product structures (BOM) production routings time and method studies ensuring accurate costing;
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting principles (CPC/IFRS) tax regulations and audit requirements (internal and external) related to industrial costs and inventories;
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations regarding costs inventories and margins;
- Perform other activities related to the role and work processes.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelors degree in accounting administration economics finance or related field.
- Postgraduate degree: Finance or Controllership
- Experience: 5 years of experience
- Technical Skills: Office advanced Power BI intermediate Oracle
- Communication: Advanced English
