HYBRID role: This is a full-time role and our selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid onsite 3-4 days per week at our Brooklyn Park MN Headquarters.

A day in the life:

In this individual contributor manager role our Manager Financial Reporting will be responsible for managing the external financial reporting and helping to build an effective ongoing SEC reporting function. This role also includes researching and communicating findings on technical accounting matters producing periodic financial reports maintaining accurate accounting records and upholding a strong system of internal controls. This ensures the accuracy of the companys reported financial results and full compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support and enhance processes across all facets of SEC reporting ensuring timely accurate filings and strong internal controls.
  • Manage the preparation of all financial and non-financial information included in our filings on Forms 10-K 10-Q 8-K and Proxy filings.
  • Support the SEC reporting process by ensuring critical accounting matters and other technical sections included in the SEC filings are in accordance with GAAP and SEC rules and regulations.
  • Conduct technical accounting research and monitor FASB / SEC developments to identify potential impacts of new pronouncements and prepare related position paper accounting policy and disclosure documentation.
  • Collaborate with the finance team internal auditors and external auditors for financial statement audits and reviews.
  • Maintain a documented system of accounting policies procedures and internal control narratives.
  • Ensure Company compliance with local state and federal government reporting requirements including tax filings.
  • Support and/or manage process development and system migration projects as we strengthen our overall internal accounting environment.
  • Support the month-end close process and preparation of the monthly financial statements.
  • Lead and execute accounting and finance projects ensuring timely delivery of results and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Various other duties as reasonably determined.


Requirements

What we expect of you:

  • 5 years of progressively responsible accounting experience including public company experience
  • CPA designation (active or inactive)
  • B.A. in Finance or Accounting
  • Experience with SarbanesOxley legislation
  • Experience with SEC filings
  • Proven skills with Microsoft Office 365 particularly Excel
  • Energetic forward-thinking and decisive with the highest ethical standards and professional presence

  • Adaptable and demonstrated ability to operate effectively within a high-growth company environment
  • Practical hands-on approach to problem-solving and execution

  • Advanced technology skills with the ability to adapt to new systems quickly (i.e. QAD E*Trade Salesforce Toppan Merrill Bridge etc.)

Salary (or Hourly) range for U.S locations (USD): 100000 - 125000 per year.

In addition to Base Salary this position is eligible for a Corporate Bonus Plan (CBP) which provides the opportunity to earn additional compensation for the companys meeting established annual objectives and prorated based on earned annual base salary.

The base salary range is applicable across the U.S. complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience certification/education market conditions and specific location.
