Must-Have Qualifications

Masters degree in Social Work Psychology Mental Health Counseling or related clinical field from an accredited institution

Current and appropriate state licensure/certification as LPC LMFT or LCSW where practice occurs

Minimum two years of clinical experience
Job Description
The Mental Health Therapist provides clinical mental health services focused on non-medical treatment in a secure or institutional environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct mental health screenings and assessments using clinical interviews and record reviews

Develop implement and modify individualized treatment plans based on client needs and functioning levels

Document treatment and evaluation activities accurately and confidentially
-
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive client information at all times

Apply psychological counseling theories and techniques in treatments and activities for individuals on caseload

Provide mental health assessments counseling and crisis interventions to address client needs
