Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Communications Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in shaping and spreading our organizations narrative enhancing our communication strategies and supporting our overall mission. As the Communications Coordinator you will be responsible for developing implementing and maintaining communications plans that align with our goals and engage our target audiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Create engaging content for various platforms including social media newsletters and press releases.
- Assist in the planning and execution of events and campaigns that promote the organization.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage and public perception to inform communication strategies.
- Support the development of internal communications to keep staff informed and engaged.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure brand consistency in all communications.
Skills
- Bachelors degree in Communications Marketing Public Relations or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a communications or marketing role.
- Strong writing editing and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and content management systems.
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite or Canva) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
