Job Description
Overview
The next residency cohort will begin on January 5 2026. This is a year long residency.
Responsibilities
Supports the assessment of spiritual needs and provides consultation to patients families and caregivers in a timely and supportive manner.
Supports provision of emotional and spiritual support to Cone Health employees.
Writes up notes for the medical staff and makes recommendations to help improve the patients mindset and emotional comfort.
Participates in all aspects of the CPE program to further their education and certification.
Performs administrative tasks such as taking calls and filling out bereavement cards that enable staff Chaplains to focus on consulting patients families and other staff.
Performs other duties as assigned.
