Job Description
As a CNC prototype machinist you will be responsible for working independently on assignments that demand exceptional judgment and initiative. You will collaborate closely with a team to ensure the production of high-quality products. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational and detail-oriented skills accurately follows operational and routine maintenance instructions demonstrates the ability to quickly adapt to new processes and effectively communicates project progress on a regular basis. - Experience setting up operating and programming a CNC machine in a 3D CAD/CAM environment
- Ability to program complex 3D parts
- Experience holding close tolerances and validating critical features and dimensions using hand metrology equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- 5 years experience in multi-axis operation and programming
- Programming experience with general part geometries as well as free form shapes
- Knowledge of Machine code
- Experience using horizontal and vertical saws manual mills and lathes
- Ability to apply and advise on Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances
- Experience reading interpreting and applying detailed part drawing requirements
