Job Description

The Photographer I Nightside/Weekend operates television or video cameras to record images or scenes for news reports.

Cover general news assignments in a fast-paced newsgathering environment

utilizing electronic video camera cell phone editing equipment and other

equipment that may be relevant to a story
Strong understanding of various media formats and camera equipment
Operate live ENG remote newsgathering equipment
Ability to work overtime extra hours
Ability to work several different shifts
Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
Ability to be available in the event of breaking news
Ability to respond quickly to breaking news

Additional Requirements:

Willingness to cross-train in other areas of news operations as needed
Availability to work weekends holidays and irregular hours as job requires
Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs of equipment
Clean motor vehicle record ability to drive proof of insurance

Requirements & Skills:

College degree preferred
Online link to work samples including videography and editing preferably in a

news setting
No still photography

* Flexibility to work any shift
