A local manufacturer is seeking a Project Manager to help strengthen the connection between the shop floor and this role youll oversee manufacturing projects from initiation through completion while ensuring accuracy in work orders inventory control and cost management.
The ideal candidate will have a background in industrial manufacturing with an emphasis on steel and metal fabrication and a proven ability to manage timelines budgets and resources in a fast-paced environment.
Project Manager Responsibilities
- Manage multiple manufacturing projects from planning through execution and close-out.
- Oversee and coordinate work order management to ensure accuracy timeliness and proper documentation.
- Monitor and reconcile inventory across raw materials WIP and finished goods.
- Analyze variances and conduct root-cause analysis on inventory and production discrepancies.
- Collaborate with production supply chain and finance teams to ensure accurate BOM PO and work order data.
- Maintain inventory control processes while coordinating with procurement and production to ensure material availability.
- Interpret and apply blueprints drawings and technical specifications for project planning and execution.
- Develop monitor and manage project budgets including forecasting cost control and variance analysis.
- Lead project teams with clear direction problem-solving and communication.
- Prepare progress reports and project updates for leadership and stakeholders.
Project Manager Qualifications:
- 3 years of project management experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Manufacturing Management Business or related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of work order systems and ERP tools.
- Experience in inventory management and control processes.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Demonstrated success in budgeting and cost control on multi-phase projects.
- Excellent leadership organizational and communication skills.

Compensation: $100000 - $125000 (DOE)
