You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Public Policy and Global Affairs Programme School of Social Sciences invites applications for part-time lecturers (PTLs). We are looking for PTLs who can contribute to teaching (conducting seminars lectures tutorials and assessment) in our Programme particularly in these areas:
Political Theory (including but not limited to the history of political thought contemporary political theory non-Western political theory analytic political thought)
Public Policy or Public Administration (including but not limited to public policy and administration in Singapore and Asia policy implementation AI and governance sustainability)
Environmental governance
Civil society
Gender and development
Ethics and Civics
Comparative politics
Key Responsibilities:
Develop course materials and syllabus
Conduct seminars/lectures/tutorials
Develop assessments for the course
Grade course assignments (including tests quizzes exam scripts)
Invigilate the final examination.
Handle all student queries on course related matter
Work with the Head of Division to ensure smooth and timely course delivery
Qualification and requirement:
A least a PhD in social sciences specialisation in a political science subfield will be an advantage
Prior tutoring/lecturing experience will be an advantage
Able to teach and invigilate during office hours
