Your Role:
As a member of the Sales Operations team you will be responsible for providing back office support to Tenables worldwide sales team. You will need a customer centric attitude and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast moving environment. Youll be reviewing bookings generating quotes and responding to channel requests to support a large and growing sales team. Tenable wins and manages business relationships through the combined efforts of Lead Generation SMB Sales Enterprise Sales Channel Management Sales Engineering and Account Management. To this end you will provide timely accurate assistance to these teams as they quote Tenables products present proposals to customers and close sales opportunities. Your primary objective is to ensure that all sales and channel professionals have 360 degree back office support allowing them to focus on customer success.
Your Opportunity:
Become an expert on Tenables and CPQ instances to effectively support sales use of these essential business systems
Develop in-depth knowledge of Tenables licensing model and pricing to provide quoting support to our worldwide sales teams
Participate in responding to requests from sales reps and channel managers
Review and approve bookings submitted in by sales teams
Work across functional areas such as product management finance and product marketing to enable revenue and serve both internal stakeholders and customers alike
Become a subject matter expert on all those aspects of the sales process that do not directly involve the customer
May perform other duties and responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time.
What Youll Need:
Background in Enterprise Software
Experience using CRM platform
Experience using CPQ
Experience using Netsuite
Experience with licensing / entitlement management
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Hyper attention to detail
Effective at time management and prioritization
Ability to work in a high volume fast-paced environment
Bachelors degree in a related field such as Business Information Technology or Finance or equivalent work experience
Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time
Some travel may be required
