Data Analyst (Junior/Mid-Level)
Location: Remote Philippines
Compensation: Philippines: $1500 $1700 USD/month
Industry: SaaS / PropTech / Real Estate Technology
Schedule: Full-time flexible remote hours with overlap to core business needs (UK hours)
About the Role
We are seeking a Junior/Mid-Level Data Analyst to join a fast-growing SaaS technology company operating at the intersection of property management and hospitality. The companys platform powers flexible living and short-to-midterm rental operations for institutional real estate owners worldwide.
In this role youll help build and optimize data dashboards automate reporting processes and deliver AI-assisted analytics that drive insights across finance marketing account management and product teams. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong SQL and BI skills who wants to grow in a collaborative tech-forward environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build & enhance dashboards: Develop new reports in Superset (or similar BI tools such as Looker Studio Power BI Tableau) and improve existing ones with cleaner queries stronger visuals and better usability.
- Optimize SQL queries: Write and refine complex queries (joins aggregations window functions) to improve performance and accuracy across high-volume datasets.
- Automate reporting: Standardize and streamline recurring reports reducing manual effort through automation tools and workflows.
- Leverage AI in analytics: Support enhancements such as automated commentary anomaly/discrepancy detection and intelligent insights.
- Support teams with ad hoc requests: Provide timely reporting for Finance Marketing Account Management and other internal stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot & resolve issues: Investigate data discrepancies debug broken reports and maintain data integrity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders: Participate in team meetings clarify requirements and ensure deliverables align with business objectives.
What Were Looking For
- 2-3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong SQL skills including complex queries and performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with BI tools (Superset; Looker Studio Power BI or Tableau also valuable).
- Comfortable with automation tools and eager to learn AI-assisted analytics/reporting.
- Strong attention to detail analytical mindset and ability to communicate insights clearly.
- Collaborative proactive and able to thrive in a fast-moving SaaS/tech environment.
What This Role Does Not Require
- Senior-level stakeholder management or C-suite engagement.
- Advanced statistical modeling or machine learning.
- 8 years of experience this role is designed for a junior to mid-level profile.
