Full-Time Professor of Bioengineering
Location: Puebla

What will you do
Strengthen the Department of Bioengineering specifically in the area of Biotechnology with a focus on Bioprocesses. Selected candidates will teach key courses in the curriculum and develop high-impact research and innovation projects.s.
Your main challenges will be:
- Conduct research
- Participate in outreach/consulting projects defined by the department
- Develop teaching materials for your courses and publish results in products such as books and articles
- Engage in educational innovation with a strong emphasis on innovative teaching practices
What are we looking for
- PhD in Biotechnology Chemical Engineering Biochemistry Food Science or Environmental Science with a specialization in Bioprocesses
- International experience either as a faculty member and/or as a professional in the industry or through industry-related projects in the area of specialization
- Strong written and oral communication skills in Spanish and English (minimum level B2 or equivalent to 550 TOEFL points)
- Ability to conduct applied research independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Connections with industry and universities through joint projects collaboration networks consulting or academic residencies
