PGIM Quantitative Solutions is looking to hire an Investment Associate to with work with the Quantitative EquityPortfolio Management team. The success of PGIM Quant Equity is a function of a number of factors including the firms leading-edge quantitative portfolio management portfolio management team is responsible for stock selection and portfolio construction research with direct accountability for portfolio performance.

What you can expect:

  • Assist our Quant Equity Solutions Portfolio Managers with implementation and execution of all dimensions of the investment process including cashflow management portfolio optimization corporate actions proxy voting

  • Provide analytic and programming support for portfolio management and investment-related research

  • Provide analytic support for client-related presentations and research

  • Develop and maintain performance attribution reports for investment portfolios. Assist in the development of written pieces explaining relative performance to clients

  • Develop and maintain risk management reports for portfolio management

  • Participate in PGIM Quant Equity research seminars

  • Participate in internal and external investment meetings

What you will bring:

  • Bachelors degree required in related discipline; STEM program preferred

  • One to three years of work experience in a related field is desirable but not required

  • Strong evidence of outstanding academic achievement and strong foundation in investments economics and statistics

  • Quantitative and programming skills (Linux R Python VB)

  • Experience with FactSet and Bloomberg

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Most importantly strong attention to detail is required

  • Masters degree

  • CFA designation or interest in pursuing is desired.

  • Able to work in a team environment while taking individual responsibility for the quality and accuracy of his/her work.

  • Excellent time management skills; work efficiently under the pressure of deadlines.

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The base salary range for this role is from $100000 to $125000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location candidate experience and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program whereby an award if any depends on various factors including without limitation individual and organizational performance.
