Objective: The Senior Care Specialists primary responsibility is to support clients by ensuring that the Senior Care
schedule ensures adequate coverage including scheduling routine draws and STAT pick-ups. Streamline
communication between Client Services and the Senior Care Program. Support clients by answering questions and
routine client support calls.
Responsibilities: Coordinating routes organizing draw requests and ensuring quality customer service and timely
service. Additionally they serve as a liaison reporting issues to management sales and laboratory departments for
timely resolution while managing inadequate orders resolving specimen issues and assisting the sales team with
resolving billing related errors and client requests.
Breakdown of Daily Tasks:
Scheduling:
Manage and Coordinate Senior Care team routes to ensure adequate coverage for necessary clients.
Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate fluctuations in workload or staffing availability.
Notify clients of any schedule changes or complications.
Consult Patient Services Manager regarding route concerns and changes that affect the PSR team.
Account Management:
Answer phone calls and manage voicemails addressing general inquiries.
Maintain daily communication with accounts and Rounding Provider Groups.
Support clients and their general needs.
Account Launch and Coordination:
Set up new accounts in the LIS and establish portal access.
Process paperwork for new account launches.
Launch accounts quickly and accurately to maintain a fast paced workflow.
Collaborate with sales and senior care team to coordinate supplies.
Facilitate communication among sales senior care team accessioning and laboratory teams.
Notify sales and Executive staff about specimen delays.
Coordinate logistics with the Accessioning and Logistics Supervisor.
Monitor turn times to ensure timely specimen processing. Be aware of general release times.
Follow up on specimen resolutions for prompt documentation.
Provide sales insights and process improvement suggestions to the Customer Concierge Manager.
Document client complaints and communicate to Customer Concierge Manager.
Perform any additional duties as requested

Education and Experience:
High School graduate or equivalent required. Customer service experience scheduling and laboratory
operations experience a plus. Must have strong communication skills and self-initiative.
Physical Requirements:
Some prolonged sitting twisting and typing. Ability to lifting of 25lbs Follow all PPE requirements.
Additional Requirements:
Must have valid driver license with clean driving record and dependable insured transportation
