About the Role
- Responsible for assisting the SMT process and NPI validation according to quality safety and environmental systems and customer specific requirements.
What You Will Do
- Assist the SMT team in performing NPI validations.
- Develop programs for the paste printer machine pick and place AOI for paste printer AOI for SMT Temperature profiles and X ray equipment
- Develop and improve the model changeover of the SMT line
- Make modifications to programs and processes to accommodate engineering changes.
- Reduce equipment downtime
- Provide solutions to reduce defects
- Perform quality inspections of repaired units per checklist
- Participate and provide support related to environmental Health and Safety objectives targets and programs.
What You Need to Be Successful
- Mechanical/ Industrial Technician.
- Incomplete bachelors degree Eng Mechanical Electromechanical or similar
- 2-year experience in SMT process.

- ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 basic knowledge.
- Ability to read and interpret process technical specifications
- Possess strong knowledge of electronics and ability to troubleshoot process issues
- Skilled in manufacturing soldering techniques including surface mount technology
- Must be computer literate as required to carry out the basic functions of the position
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic team oriented and fast paced environment.
- Creative problem solving and customer relations skills are a must.
- Must be detail oriented and well organized.
