Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site installations of complex equipment ensuring flawless execution by adhering to strict testing procedures.
- Perform regular maintenance visits to ensure efficient performance of systems.
- Provide troubleshooting and repair support to customers and other field service engineers.
- Build positive relationships with customers system users and colleagues.
- Support NanoPort to successfully resolve issues and assist other field service engineers.
- Build and submit detailed field service reports.
- Offer training to customers and users on system maintenance.
- Provide feedback to the product quality team to determine improvements.
- Update and revise internal system documentation.
- Identify and address specific system issues.
- Participate in overseas training programs (3-6 months) to improve your skills.
Preferred Background and Experience
- Recent graduates and those with up to 3 years of professional experience are welcome.
- Keen interest in troubleshooting and repair particularly with analytical and precision equipment.
- Knowledge or interest in electron microscopes.
- Proficiency in reading and writing in Japanese and English; curiosity is valued over conversational proficiency.
- Background in science or engineering (electrical electronic physics) from a technical college university or graduate school.
- Knowledge of PC and network systems is a plus.
