Job Description

Role:Locum Respiratory Physiologist
Banding: Band 6/7
Location: St Helens
Start Date: 20/08/2025
Duration:3 Months
Hours:Full-time
Rate: 27 - 35 per hour

The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Physiologist to join our team in St Helens. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment providing high-quality care and support to patients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

You will conduct respiratory function tests and assessments. You will analyze and interpret test results. You will provide treatment plans and follow-up care. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care. You will maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Essential:
    • Clinical PFT/LFT experience.
    • Relevant qualifications and registration as a Respiratory Physiologist.
    • Band 5 6 or 7 with reporting experience.
    • Minimum of 6 months experience within the NHS.
  • Desirable:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
    • Proven experience as a Respiratory Physiologist.
