This Position reports to:
Service Team LeaderIn this position you will have the opportunity to carry out service work of low to medium complexity on electric motors and drives in accordance with work instructions and ABBs standard processes quality standards and safety guidelines. Each day you will plan and execute work with a first-time-right approach with customers. You will also demonstrate your expertise by showing a clear understanding of urgency and ownership in your area of responsibility.
The work model for this position is: onsite
This role contributes to the Motion Service business area in the Colombian and Ecuadorian market.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Working with the customer (on-site) to identify opportunities to improve their operations and eliminate pain points.
Performing field service tasks identifying technical issues and carrying out analysis either remotely or on-site for electric motors and low- and medium-voltage drives including the execution of scheduled maintenance activities.
Preparing material lists required for service activities and ensuring that all materials spare parts and equipment are available and of appropriate quality.
Troubleshooting equipment or process failures requesting proactive corrective actions and making recommendations to prevent recurrence.

Qualifications for the position
University degree in Electronic Electrical Mechatronic Electromechanical Engineering or related field.
At least 5 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer or Service Engineer.
Strong knowledge and experience working with electric motors (mandatory) and low and medium voltage drives (nice to have).
Intermediate level of English.
Willingness to travel (80% of time).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Excel Word Outlook PowerPoint).
