- Multi-Program Reach: Manage instructional programs special events and recreational use under one umbrella
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Safety Camps Events and Membership to build dynamic experiences
- Program Ownership: Youll design evaluate and refine the schedule curriculum and communication systems
- Community-Centered: Serve the Northern Virginia region through thoughtful engaging and high-quality offerings
Key Responsibilities - Lead the planning and implementation of aquatic programs special events and seasonal activities
- Monitor attendance satisfaction and performance metrics to inform program improvements
- Coordinate swim lesson schedules instructor staffing and facility availability
- Collaborate with Marketing and Membership teams to promote and communicate offerings
- Maintain participant records calendars and registration systems
- Ensure alignment with safety standards operational policies and brand expectations
- Support interdepartmental partnerships to enhance birthday parties group rentals and camps
- Develop and maintain internal program documentation SOPs and seasonal calendars
- Support staff development through scheduling mentorship and performance feedback
What You Bring - 3 years of experience designing and managing aquatics programs or recreational instruction
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Strong knowledge of swim instruction formats customer service models and program evaluation methods
- Excellent communication and administrative skills
- Experience using registration software spreadsheets and scheduling tools
- ARC Lifeguard and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer required
- WSI and Certified Pool Operator (CPO/AFO) preferred
