The Opportunity

Reporting to the Executive General Manager Visy Board you will have full accountability for state-wide manufacturing operations in Victoria. This role leads a large multi-site operation setting operational strategy ensuring compliance and industrial harmony and delivering outstanding results in safety productivity and quality.

With ownership of P&L performance capital project delivery and continuous improvement programs you will be the key driver of operational excellence and business growth in this critical state leadership position.

Your Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction and operational priorities for all Victorian manufacturing sites.

• Lead a large diverse workforce with a strong focus on safety culture and engagement.

• Oversee full operational P&L including cost control payroll and capital investment.

• Manage complex HR and IR matters ensuring compliance and fostering a high-performance culture.

• Champion continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma) to lift capability and efficiency.

• Ensure technical and quality standards meet customer and regulatory requirements.

• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

What Youll Bring

• Proven track record in senior multi-site operational leadership (15 years).

• Demonstrated success in driving operational and cultural transformation.

• Strong IR expertise with the ability to negotiate and influence at senior levels.

• Experience in large-scale manufacturing; packaging industry experience advantageous.

• Tertiary qualifications in Commerce Engineering Operations or Finance.
