Job Description

About the job:

As a Document Controller at Ethos you will play a key role in supporting our project teams by managing and maintaining high-quality documentation standards. You will work closely with engineers and project leads to ensure all technical documents drawings and reports are accurately reviewed stored and issued in line with Ethos protocols.

About you:

    • Must be based in Ireland to be considered for this position
    • 12 years experience in a similar role (entry to intermediate level)
    • Strong communication presentation and organisational skills
    • Capable of taking on project tasks with guidance from senior staff
    • Able to multi-task across projects for reviews and feedback
    • Good time management skills & ability to meet deadlines
    • Excellent IT skills
    • Motivated and flexible approach
    • Attention to detail
    • Strong ability to collaborate and work as part of a high-performance team
    • Fluency in English

    Your day-to-day activities:

        • Provide document control support across all Ethos project teams.
        • Review and proof technical documentation prior to client issuance.
        • Ensure accuracy consistency and quality of project reports and deliverables.
        • Archive store and retrieve project documentation efficiently.
        • Maintain and update document registers and logs.
        • Contribute to the development and improvement of document management procedures.
        • Conduct QA reviews of drawings specifications calculations and reports.
        • Collate and format documents for internal and external use.
        • Support Quality Assurance initiatives across Ethos.
        • Ensure project folders and documentation align with Ethos standards.
        • Perform administrative tasks including formatting and editing specifications and reports.
        • Communicate professionally and always maintain confidentiality.

        Key Knowledge:

          • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook SharePoint).
          • Experience with web-based document management systems.
          • Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and Bluebeam.
          • Strong digital literacy and adaptability to new software tools.
