Job Description
Job Title: Assistant Manager Sustainability
Location: Ahmedabad India
Experience: 4-5 years
About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Manager Sustainability to lead contract execution compliance and traceability management in line with international sustainability standards. The ideal candidate will ensure strict adherence to Rainforest Alliance EUDR and other certification requirements across the supply chain from farm to customer.
Key Responsibilities:

Sustainability Contract Execution & Compliance:
Ensure 100% compliance with Rainforest Alliance and EUDR standards across all sustainability contracts. Proactively prevent and address any non-compliance issues to maintain zero audit flags. -
Documentation & Traceability Management:
Maintain accurate complete and timely documentation for all consignments including traceability certificates transaction logs and premium records. Ensure end-to-end traceability with no gaps from farm-level data through to customer reporting. -
Portal & System Management:
Manage activities on Multitrace and other sustainability/credit portals such as credit issuance transfers and reporting with zero errors. Ensure timely submissions and no rejections or returns from certification bodies. -
Audit & SOP Compliance:
Prepare and provide accurate documentation and responses during internal and external audits. Develop update and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to standardize documentation practices and ensure compliance across teams. -
Collaboration & Training:
Work closely with Sustainability Logistics and Trade teams to integrate sustainability documentation into shipment planning. Train and support internal teams to strengthen compliance culture and awareness of documentation requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelors degree in Environmental Science Agriculture Supply Chain or related field.

4-5 years of experience in sustainability compliance contract management or traceability preferably in agricultural or commodity supply chains.

Understanding of how to make cocao more sustainable will be an added advantange

Strong understanding of Rainforest Alliance EUDR and related certification standards.

Experience managing sustainability portals (e.g. Multitrace) and handling audit processes.

Excellent coordination communication and training skills.

Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.

Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
