Job Description
Job Summary (List Format) based on Provided Job Description:
- Gather and confirm system requirements from business users based on functional specifications.
- Create review and obtain sign-off for technical documentation.
- Design develop and optimize SAP ABAP programs including reports interfaces enhancements forms and conversion programs.
- Utilize SAP ECC ABAP Managed Database Procedures ABAP Open SQL OData BOPF UI5 SQL Script Adobe Forms Proxy Workflow and ALE/IDOC for application development and consulting.
- Develop and maintain applications across various SAP modules especially FI (FM BCS) and MM (PR AP IM).
- Configure build and test application or technical architecture components.
- Implement approved SAP application development change requests and projects.
- Develop efficient coding solutions to optimize program performance without impacting system operation.
- Participate in the transition of application or technical components to testers.
- Develop common test data and assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Identify resolve and document defects and performance issues discovered during testing.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for all new and changed developments.
- Interact directly with customers and manage all deliverables to them.
- Handle interface development and integration activities.
- Manage change requests and end-to-end delivery of enhancements.
- Ensure complete documentation for all changes and new developments.
- Own system configuration to support future deployments and enhancements.
- Develop functional specifications to support technical development.
- Provide defect resolution and production support.
- Implement user exits enhancements and custom development; collaborate with ABAP developers for coding.
- Conduct unit testing and integration testing as part of deliverables.
- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate closely with the ABAP team.
- Provide user training as required.
