Job Description
No local candidates within 50 miles. Schedule 630am-3pm 16 weeks 7000D Lab GMCD - Med Tech Min of 2 years of experience within specialty. Min 2 years of experience within specialty. Cerner Experience. Requires: ASCP AMT AAB. Facility will ONLY consider Med Lab Technologist & Med Lab Scientist. Med Lab Technician will NOT be considered. REQUIRED Bachelor s degree in a chemical physical biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution and applicants must be eligible for an appropriate certification examination. Acceptable certifying agencies include: ASCP NCA AMT AAB HHS (HEW) OR Associates Degree in laboratory science (Chemical or Biological Science) or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution and certification as a Medical Technologist. Acceptable certifying agencies include: ASCP NCA AMT AAB HHS (HEW) OR Graduate of a Military Program in Science (health science biology chemical physical medical technology) and certification as a Medical Technologist. Acceptable certifying agencies include ASCP NCA AMT AAB HHS (HEW) OR Grandfathered Medical Technologist by having previously qualified as a technologist on or before February 28 1992 and current certification as a Medical Technologist. Acceptable certifying agencies include ASCP NCA AMT AAB HHS (HEW) Ability to implement and perform clinical laboratory procedures according to proper standards and regulations. Must submit to a Color-Acuity screening Test Northside Holiday Expectations: MUST work 2 major Holidays of the 3: Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day New Year s Day AND 1 Minor Holiday: Day after Thanksgiving Christmas Eve New Year s Eve
