Job Description
Northwest Partners is engaged in a strategic initiative with a well-established insurance organization and seeks an experienced QA analyst to lead and execute high-quality testing practices. This role will ensure rigorous manual and automated test development while mentoring others and collaborating across business and technical teams.
What YOU will do
Lead test planning design execution and maintenance for functional integration system and performance testing
Oversee test case development based on business requirements workflows and technical specifications
Review code changes and align testing strategies based on risk assessment
Participate in product requirement and design reviews
Conduct user acceptance and model office testing
Prioritize team work assignments and manage project deliverables and estimates
Analyze defect submissions for completeness and accuracy
Review and improve testing coverage and identify gaps
Track deliverables and generate progress reports to ensure deadlines are met
Provide detailed testing metrics and reports to leadership
Drive continuous improvement in QA practices and processes
Mentor and coach QA analysts on best practices
What YOU will bring us
Bachelor s degree in information technology or related field
4 6 years of QA analyst experience with hands-on manual and automated testing
Experience in property and casualty insurance preferred
Familiarity with software development methodologies and project governance
Knowledge of web browser and Windows-based UI testing
Ability to lead offshore teams and manage complex QA projects
Strong analytical communication and facilitation skills
Experience identifying data relationships in business process workflows
Comfort with technical terminology including client-server databases and network environments
