Job Description
Role: Functional Expert (S4 Hana and Agile)
Location: Miami FL (4 Days Onsite/Look for locals if possible either nearby candidates will also work)
Duration: 12 Months
Experience Needed: 8 Years
Note: The Functional Expert role is open only to U.S. Citizens. The candidate must have experience in S4 HANA Agile POS (Point of Sale) and Payment Gateway. The role requires being onsite 4 days a week. Strong verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.
Core Skills & Experience
Domain Knowledge:
o In-depth functional understanding of payments industry card products and transaction lifecycle
o Knowledge of retail card programs and aviation-related card programs (AIRCard)
o Understanding of regulatory and compliance aspects in payments
Product & Functional Expertise:
o Experience working with POS systems merchant onboarding settlement processes
o Functional knowledge of systems similar to those in the architecture (Azure-hosted solutions SQL-based systems API-driven platforms)
o Experience collaborating on product requirements feature mapping and system migration planning
Workshop Skills:
o Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams
o Skilled at identifying gaps in current vs. target-state product features
o Strong communicator who can bridge business & technology stakeholders
General Requirements for Both Roles
Seniority: 8 years relevant experience
Proven track record in enterprise-scale payment systems
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
Comfortable working in hybrid business/technical discussions
Availability to participate fully during the workshop sessions
