Job Description
Job Title: Network Engineer (Cisco DMVPN IPSec OSPF/BGP Wireshark)
Location: Albany NY (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Qualification:
- Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting LAN networking equipment in large-scale environments with 1000 remote endpoints including switches routers/firewalls and VPN devices. Proficient in using protocol analysis tools (e.g. Wireshark) to perform detailed network data capture and analysis.
- Strong analytical and technical understanding of network protocols and technologies such as DMVPN IPsec OSPF and BGP.
- Extensive experience working with Cisco hardware and Cisco IOS in complex TCP/IP environments including routing NAT/port forwarding and VPN configuration and management.
- Proficient in supporting and configuring wireless networking equipment from vendors including Cisco Ubiquiti and Aruba.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with business users to:
- Gather and analyze business requirements and deliver corresponding technical solutions
- Operate effectively as part of a cross-functional team including both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Adapt to shifting priorities in dynamic environments
- Bridge communication between business and technical teams to ensure alignment and clarity
