Job Summary:
This role involves performing a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures in a Cath Lab setting requiring proficiency in coronary and peripheral vascular disease interventions cardiac arrhythmia management and pacemaker implantation. The Cath Lab Technician will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. On-call responsibilities are expected.

Responsibilities:
- Performing coronary and peripheral vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Assisting with pacemaker implantations.
- Maintaining and operating Cath Lab equipment.
- Preparing patients for procedures and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Monitoring patients vital signs and reporting any changes to the physician.
- Adhering to strict infection control protocols.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Collaborating with other members of the healthcare team.
- Participating in on-call shifts as required.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technician.
- ARRT certification.
- Fluoroscopy permit (pending applications considered).
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- RCIS certification (not required).
Special Considerations:
- On-call responsibilities are required.
- Weekend work is not required.
- Floating to other departments is not required.
- A block schedule may be considered.
- Pending state licenses and fluoroscopy permits are considered provided the application is submitted.
- The facility allows for one called-off shift per two weeks.
Scheduling:
- Shift type and scheduling details will be determined during the hiring process. The facility will consider accommodating block schedules.
