Summary The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating clear concise and user-centric documentation for software and API products in the cash management and AI-driven technology space. This role involves translating complex technical information into accessible content to support developers integrators and global service professionals. The writer will work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D Sales Operations Service Training Portfolio and Business Development and more. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in technical writing particularly with APIs and SDKs and a collaborative mindset to work alongside engineers and product teams to enhance the overall developer experience in a fast-paced innovative environment. Key Responsibilities

Create and maintain high-quality documentation for software applications RESTful APIs SDKs and system integrations.

Structure and manage content using best practices like DITA or DocType.

Collaborate with engineers product managers and support teams to ensure technical accuracy and consistency.

Translate complex technical details into user-friendly documents tailored to diverse audiences.

Contribute to continuous improvement of documentation standards processes and tools.

Participate in Agile/Scrum workflows and provide documentation deliverables aligned with sprint goals.

Qualification
B. Tech or Bachelors in IT/Software Engineering/ Related Engineering /Science streams (Required)
M. Tech or Masters in any other relevant field (Preferred)

Experience as a technical writer ideally with a specialization in software documentation and APIs preferably in financial technology banking systems or enterprise platforms

Strong understanding of RESTful APIs JSON webhooks and API testing tools like Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI.

Comfortable reading and interpreting source code or developer samples.

Experience with document structuring methodologies such as DITA or DocType.

Proficiency in XML editors (e.g. X-Metal) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Hands-on experience with Adobe tools such as Acrobat Illustrator and Photoshop.

Excellent written communication skills with a focus on clarity accuracy and audience adaptation.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and prioritization skills.

Strong collaboration skills and ability to work closely with engineers product managers and other stakeholders.

Prior experience in cash management treasury systems or payment solutions.

Exposure to AI-powered documentation tools or content intelligence platforms.

Familiarity with AI/ML concepts especially in automation predictive analytics or knowledge systems.

Experience with modern documentation toolchains such as Markdown Git Docusaurus Swagger GitBook and ReadMe.

Understanding of security and compliance requirements in financial APIs.

Contributions to open-source documentation projects or active involvement in developer communities.

Exposure to DevOps environments and CI/CD practices.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and workflows.
