Job Description

homologation engineer Company description / Organisation / Department

This role is part of our growing automotive team focusing on ensuring our vehicles meet all necessary regulatory standards.

Position description / Job description
  • Coordinate vehicle inwarding dispatch loading and unloading with transporters at ARAI Kothrud and Chakan.
  • Manage local vehicle and material movement within Pune.
  • Conduct local rework and modifications as needed collaborating with dealerships and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with the plant team to ensure vehicle readiness and timely dispatch.
  • Inspect vehicles upon arrival at ARAI for homologation-related components and documentation.
  • Track invoices and payments for ARAI departments and activities.
  • Arrange transportation for vehicles and test mockups.
  • Manage drivers helpers and vehicle fuel logistics between the plant and Pune.
Expectations / Requirements

Were looking for you if:

  • You hold a Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering.
  • You possess 1-4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • You have basic knowledge of commercial vehicles and MS Excel.
  • You demonstrate strong communication and coordination skills.
  • You are detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational abilities.
  • You are comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with ARAI homologation processes is a plus.
