Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Helpdesk Assistant to join our ITdepartment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting project work and ensuring timely ticket closure across 30 individual locations. This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our IT operations.You will receive effective training to ensure you are well-equipped to perform your duties. Key Responsibilities: - Provide first-level support for IT-related issues and inquiries.
- Assist in project work including planning execution and monitoring.
- Attention to detail In regard to data entry.
- Manage and resolve helpdesk tickets in a timely manner.
- Document and track all support activities using our ticketing system.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless support across all locations.
- Communicate effectively with end-users to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IT systems software and hardware.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Currently pursuing a degree in an IT-related field.
- Previous experience in a helpdesk or IT support role preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using ticketing systems and other IT support tools.
- Basic understanding of IT systems networks and software applications.
