Job Description

DevOps/ Sysadmin CDN Engineer needed!

18 000 - 25 000 PLN net/B2B

Remote or hybrid working model from our Warsaw office

We are a team of technology enthusiasts and experts dedicated to creating innovative VOD solutions every day. Since 2020 weve been part of VECTRA the largest privately owned capital group in Poland.

Were currently looking for a new DevOps team member to help support and grow our operations.

We expect:

  • At least 2 years as a DevOps Engineer or System Administrator
  • Deep understanding of networking concepts protocols and troubleshooting
  • Hands-on experience managing and configuring Linux servers especially Ubuntu / Debian
  • Practical experience deploying configuring and maintaining Nginx-based services
  • Strong scripting skills with Bash Python or Ansible to automate system operations
  • Proficiency with Prometheus and Grafana for server monitoring dashboard creation and alerting
  • Incident Management: Ability to respond to critical alerts define new alerting rules after incidents and document incident handling processes
  • Server & Network Maintenance: Confidence in performing server upgrades and reconfiguring network infrastructure as needed.
  • Familiarity with Docker for software development and deployment and experience with Golang as nice to have requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain video distribution services including CDN DRM and origin servers
  • Develop and enhance automation scripts to improve operational efficiency
  • Collaborate on the development of software components for CDN infrastructure
  • Respond to critical alerts (including on-call duties) and implement new alerting rules post-incident
  • Document incident handling and resolution processes
  • Perform server upgrades and patch critical security vulnerabilities as required
  • Reconfigure network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security
