Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Reconciliation of general ledger accounts and other GL accounts
Perform accounting analyses and reporting to support decisionmaking
purposes.
Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules
Support monthend and yearend closing process
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to
maintain and strengthen internal controls
Ensure compliance with GAAP principles
Liaise with the Finance Manager to improve financial procedures
Support the finance manager in the preparation of the several annual
statutory financial statements
Assure tax compliance and respect of tax deadlines
Assist with tax audits and tax returns
Interact with internal and external auditors
Skills and Experience
Essential
Certificate or Degree in Accounting/Business/Economics or in a similar field
At least 23 years in a similar role and/or in an audit firm
Fluency in English and Italian
Good Office knowledge
Desirable
Experience in travel agency accounting and tax legislation
Experience with Microsoft Business Central (NAV) ERP software
Experience in one of the big4 audit firms will be considered a plus
