Job Description
About the Job: HEROIC Cybersecurity () is seeking a Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) to help securely architect build and manage the servers of the company and our clients. We are looking for someone who is ready to make a difference and help us build the future of security-focused IT services.
In this role you will be responsible for the architecture management security and support of hundreds of servers. This position is hands-on and the successful candidate will have the right mix of hands-on experience strong interpersonal skills and technical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Designing deploying and managing a variety of systems and platforms in an enterprise environment
- Collaboratively provide solutions to technical challenges
- Lead various maintenance and innovation-based projects.
- Develop highly repeatable processes and resilient services
- Document processes procedures and systems.
- Guide the improvement of both systems and processes and the steps necessary to execute.
- Participate in vulnerability remediation by evaluating discovered vulnerabilities for accuracy the ability for remediation and severity. Plans the remediation updates servers and resources or contacts resource administrators to notify them of necessary updates.
- Assist with Group Policy design and implementation
- Security Auditing
Requirements
- Degree in Information Systems Computer Science or related field
- 8-10 years of Systems Engineering/DevOps experience
- Expert knowledge and experience with Windows and Linux Servers Active Directory SCCM HyperV VMWare ESXi Azure AWS Office 365 SQL Server and more
- Experience with major cloud platforms (Azure AWS)
- MCSE CCNA or similar certifications preferred
- Excellent English communication skills
- Must be able to work in alignment with U.S. time zones
