Job Description
Job Title: Mig Welder
Pay: $18/hour
Shift: MondayFriday 6:00 AM 2:30 PM (OT as needed)
Location: Pryor
Job Type: Temp to Hire

Note: Client will weld test on site during the interview. Bring your own hood and gloves for the test.
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable hardworking Mig Welder to join a Pryor-based fabrication team building custom-engineered steel building systems. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to grow in metal fabrication while contributing to production quality and safety.
Job Responsibilities
As a Mig Welder you will:
- Welding & Fabrication: Perform MIG welding on structural steel components according to specifications; assist in assembling and fabricating metal parts for building systems.
- Quality & Safety: Inspect welds for accuracy and structural integrity; follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Team Support: Collaborate with experienced welders/fabricators to meet production goals; assist with material handling and welding equipment setup.
- Learning & Growth: Receive on-the-job training in welding techniques and fabrication processes; develop skills in blueprint reading and metalworking tools.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of MIG welding.
- Overhead crane experience is a plus.
- Able to read a tape measure.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Team-oriented attitude and dependable attendance.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Attention to detail.
